This is exactly it. I've only been on medication since January of this year, but the improvements I've seen in the past few months greatly outnumber anything I've tried in the prior 3 years. There's nothing wrong with taking medication. We don't blame an asthmatic for needing an inhaler, we don't blame a diabetic for needing insulin, and we don't scoff at someone for taking a claritin when their allergies are bad.
For some people (some, not all), medication is the thing that makes a difference between misery and normalcy. I'm one of those people, and I don't think there's anything wrong with it.
