I was just talking with my roommate the other day about my nostalgia for the original Animal Crossing. I miss how expressive and interesting the villagers were back in those days, but he argued that, surely, New Horizions must just have more to do.

Then I mentioned gyroids and the ability to play NES games. Admittedly, I love New Horizons, and it DOES have more to do, but I miss filling my basement with old games and Gyroids and having a pseudo-laboratory of music creation via gyroids.

Here's hoping they make a return alongside Roost Cafe.
